For the calcuttas: Big Redfish went to Bobby/Matt (7.44 lb), Big Trout went to Ken/Mike (20 3/4″), and Most Spots (paid two places because more than 8 entered) went to Mark/Michael Cowart (67, yes 67) and Jim/James (11).
It was great to see some new faces, especially good to see we now have two father and son teams. That fish that Michael Cowart caught had by far the most spots I’d ever seen on a redfish…definitely a money fish. The total weight by Bobby and Matt (13.89 lb w/ the 0.5 lb dead fish penalty) would have won just about any tournment in our area…very impressive. The Oct 19 (Pensacola) tournament ramp will be announced soon. Thanks to all of you for coming out or just following us on the website.
