The next stop for the Anglers in the ECRC was in Panama City. Check in took place at Dan-D-Ridge Outfitters. Special Thanks to those guys for there support during the year. The launch took place @ the Dupont Bridge near Tyndall AFB and blast off was around 6:15. As this was the last chance for teams to qualify for the CHAMPIONSHIP everyone was ready to get after it. Teams were jacked to be fishing and when the horn sounded they were off. Some went west and some went east. A lot of teams came back saying the good bite was early but that didn’t mean the bite shut down. All teams brought fish to the scales and 5 teams in double digits should tell you it was an awesome day of fishing. Big reds and some hefty trout were brought in. No 17″ trout was going to win this time. The weather was a bit chilly in the morning but warmed up nicely and the wind wasn’t much of a factor. When all the dust had settled this is how it finished. The results for the October ECRC Panama City tournament were as follows:

*They took Big Trout with a whopper of a fish that was 21 3/4″. Man that thing was heavy too. NICE!

It was a good day for fishing and by the totals weights and fish caught I would say that everyone had an enjoyable day. Teams that have fished at least 1 event are qualified to fish the Championship next month in Destin. Don’t forget your Skeeter incentive ride to be eligible for the Power Pole drawing. The next event for the Emerald Coast Redfish Circuit will be the 2012 Championship. Some teams have a shot at moving up and some need to fish hard to not loose any so it should be one for the ages. See you all at Legendary Marine on the 10th of November.
