The fishing was still not great for most teams, but a couple teams found some excellent fish. James and Heath had seen some big schools of Reds off the beaches while they were Cobia fishing and they found them again and managed to catch a couple within the slot for a great weight of 13.92 lbs. Hunter and Frankie are still on some big fish in Choctaw Bay and came in with 13.00 lbs. Ken and Mike stayed local in the Sound and managed 11.24 lbs. The calcutta for big Red went to James/Heath (7.13 lbs) with second going to Hunter/Frankie (6.89 lbs); most spots to Matt/Jack (10) with 2nd to Ken/Mike (7); and since there were no Trout weighed, that calcutta pot of $200 will roll-over to the LA event. Thanks to everyone for fishing with us…really hope to see all of you again for the rest of our tournaments. Our next tournament will be April 11 in Delacroix, LA…(see other thread for details on that and we will be posting a thread on supplies for the fish fry Fri and Sat nights at Delacroix Lodge).
