Another great showing with a couple of new teams joining us. Pre-fishing reports were not too encouraging, but turned out that overall the fishing was good in Appalachicola with most teams catching lots of mid-slot fish (upper slot were hard to find). Thanks again to everyone that fishes with us…we got a great group of guys and gals. The results are as follows (team, fish1, fish2, total wt, points):

The calcutta for big Red went to Jim/Bill (6.66 lb) and second to Bobby/Matt (6.20* lb); most spots was a tie to Brad/Jason and Bobby/Matt (10); and for Trout first went to Bobby/Matt with 5.49 lb and second to Brad/Jason (1.91 lb). Next event is July18 in the Pensacola/Navarre area. To reiterate a heads-up that was given after the weigh in yesterday, we are planning to team up with Sandestin for our October tournament (they want us to help them get this first annual Sandestin inshore tournament going…we will provide the tournament direction expertise and they will do the marketing/sponsorship). More to follow on that.
Thanks, Mike
