The fishing was pretty great for most teams. Every team weighed fish and most teams were catching lots of upper slot fish all the time, but apparently there were areas that had heavier fish. One team (hint – Air Force) was on heavy fish all week pre-fishing and was disappointed to only weigh 14 pounds in the tournament…standards definitely re-adjust in LA. Ten of the 14 teams weighed better than 13.4 lbs! We do have some excellent fishing teams! Thanks to everyone that helped to make this by far the best LA trip yet! Special thanks to the primary cooks (Waylon Spivey, Kevin Sherwood, and Bobby Farthing for the fish and Heath and James for the crayfish) and to Hallie and Bobbie for bringing the ECRC cookies and other desserts.

The calcutta for big Red went to Bo/Bobby (8.35 lbs) with second going to Jason/Brad (8.27 lbs); most spots to Jason/Brad (12) with 2nd to John/Mike (8); and Trout (including rollover from last tournament) went to Mark/Michael (2.45 lb), second to Waylon/Kevin (1.65 lb) and third to John/Mike (1.23 lb).
